The type of BeoPlay A2 is Bang and all about Olufsen's first Bluetooth speaker, publicized under the B&O Play label. Their looking to force its way to produce a market that's already packed with a number of options.
We caught up with B&O prior to launch to get our mitts this speaker with a difference.
Erruption three colours - green, grayscale grey - there are touches including detail that you associate with B&O Get pleasure from devices. There's the leather strap, which probably comes in different sizes for convenience, associated with the metal waistband that is short for in traditional contrast with the polycarbonate-ABS polymer grille.
It's a fusion including design that results in a wonderfully developed final result, that says something about B&O's audio heritage, as well as attracting those wanting a portable Bluetooth audio.
In that vein, it's water resistant, whenever you're caught in a shower in your summer picnic then you'll be alright.
In the hand it feels solid, this every inch the premium program you expect it to be. That payment focus runs through to the sound quality and soon this being B&O, you'd expect little less.
We didn't have very long to fully test the performance, but rather from the test tracks we discovered streaming over Bluetooth from differing devices, you're looking at great supreme audio, with plenty of body. Communicate plenty of volume from the 180W audio; it might be antisocially loud on the hawaiian, but it will fill a room about ad hoc parties.
There's two individuals on each side of the BeoPlay A2, a 3-inch full-range driver nicely ¾-inch tweeter. The result is that you'll chose the same audio experience on all sides in the form of it's been designed for 360-degree delivery. That can mean that you can plonk it in the middle of your trusty gathering and everyone gets the benefit.
The type of Bluetooth audio is enhanced System.Drawing.Bitmap aptX, and you can pair up to 32 devices. You can even have it connected to allot more devices at the same time, for example to let you flow music from one, but take is claimed on another.
B&O is good 24-hours of music playback among the battery, which certainly sounds gorgeous. Unfortunately we didn't have the possibility to put this to the test.
The type of BeoPlay A2 will be available from three positive November and will cost you £299.
When you're after a premium Bluetooth speaker, you will be rather spoilt now, as we all just seen the launch within the Bowers & Wilkins T7, a higher device in its own right while yes, it's the same price.
